Founder and Pastor of Deeper Life church, Wiiliam Folorunso Kumuyi, has stated a reason he and his church may not be able to comply with the ban the Federal Government has placed on Twitter.
According to him, the church is rooted on various countries and many nations where tweeting is allowed.
This, he said, meant that the church could not shot itself against tweeting.
He noted on Monday: “In view of the Twitter ban in Nigeria, please note that the content shared on this handle is targeted at a global audience in more than five continents and over 100 nations and we share the content from any of these locations.”Meanwhile his counterpart at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye, had also on Monday insisted that the government could not prevent the church from tweeting.
He said in a tweet, “The Redeemed Christian Church of God is domiciled in more than 170 nations and territories. The tweets here are in accordance with Article 19 of the United Nations universal declaration of human rights.”
