The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has moved this year’s exam to June 19 to July 3.
The computer-based exam was initially to hold between June 5 and 19.
The shift was announced by JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, a day after he gave a hint about it.
The UTME is a computer-based standardized examination for prospective undergraduates in Nigeria.
Registration date has also been extended as the exercise will now end on May 29.
The registrar hinged the decision to postpone the examination on the difficulties being experienced by the candidates in their efforts to register. He said about 600,000 candidates who have indicated interest to participate in the 2021 UTME are yet to register.
