There was a little drama at the Arewa Lecture held in on Saturday as the All Progressives Congress Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, stumbled.
In a development that will remind many of how President Joe Biden fell while boarding a plane some days ago, Tinubu had tripped over his foot, making those around him to rally round and assisted him to balance on his feet.
He, however, had no problem walking to his seat.
Also unlike Biden who actually fell thrice, Tinubu only slipped as shown in a video that has now become viral.
Tinubu was the chairman of the lecture held in honour of one of Nigeria’s founding fathers, the late Sir Ahmadu Bello.
He spoke on the topic, ‘Reduction of the Cost of Governance for Inclusive Growth and Youth Development in Northern Nigeria in a Post-COVID-19 Era’.
According to him, Nigeria has exited recession, but the country’s economy remained weak.
