Employees of the Lagos State Fire Service head office, Alausa, went wild with jubilation on Wednesday when their boss, Rasaki Musibau, returned to office after spending days with kidnappers.
He was kidnapped alonsgside six other Lagosians but regained freedom on Wednesday.
A jubilant staff of the service hugged him repeatedly, while intermittently bursting into songs and dance.
Observers sensitive to music trend in Nigeria could not miss the way the way some members of the staff moved from one style and genre to the other.
Some of them, for instance, entertained themselves with ‘Gbe body e’ and electric leg somersault dance that has just displaced sakusaku.
Also, women, who are apparently Muslims, introduced waka songs, thanking God and asking for more safety and sanity.
