Managers of other clubs have a lesson to learn from the rating of Liverpool by Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho.
His side clashed with Liverpool on Wednesday, with the Jurgen Klopp men beating them 2-1.
Although he said his was a better team that lost, he simultaneously said Liverpool deserved the win.
More importantly, his assessment of the title defender is that they were a monster at counter attacking.
He said, “A really good game against a top side, a counter-attacking monster. You lose one ball and you end up with an 80 percent possibility in your own box so you have to really concentrate.
“Spurs is 100 percent one of the favourites. In these top six games they are not bothered to sit back and play on the counter. They will be there until the end.
