Established by seasoned journalist, performance poet and teacher, Akeem Lasisi, the medium is intimately connected to Lagos-centric media platform, phenomenalagos.com; and to Yoruba news medium,iroyinowuro.com. It aims to be factual without being boring; entertaining without being flippant.Although phenomenal.com.ng came on stream in January 2019, it is a brand of Full Point Publications and Communications, which was founded by Lasisi and incorporated in 2003. Full Point provides publishing, editorial as well as corporate and social communication services. It produces academic, literary and biographical books, with most of its titles having won acclaim and awards.

Apart from involving in educational services, Full Point provides quality entertainment through poetry/dramatic performances and productions. It also maintains an engaging, inspiring and uniquely entertaining Akeemlasisithepoetpoetrychannelon Youtube. The founder of the company, Akeem Lasisi, is a distinguished teacher, author and performance poet. Some of his publications are Right Option English (Lexis and Structure), Child of May (poetry for foundation schools), IREMOJE: Ritual Poetry for Ken Saro-Wiwa and Night of my Flight (bridal poetry). His musical poetry albums and videos include Wonderland, Eleleture: Not a Small World and Udeme: Constituency.
