Another major global leader, Boris Johnson of the UK, has tactically acknowledged the defeat of US President, Donald Trump.
He has congratulated Joe Biden, while highlighting the hope to work with him on climate change and other vital issues.
Trump has not been known to cooperate with others on the issue of climate change as he has different opinions on it.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Johnson noted:
“Just spoke to @JoeBiden to congratulate him on his election,” Johnson wrote on his official Twitter account.
“I look forward to strengthening the partnership between our countries and to working with him on our shared priorities – from tackling climate change, to promoting democracy and building back better from the pandemic.
