Peoples Democratic Party candidate in Saturday’s election, Eyitayo Jegede, gave his key opponent, Rotimi Akeredolu, a tough question on Wednesday, when he asked him if he would reduce school fees if re-elected.
Jegede had said that activity was going down in the schools, especially the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, after Akeredolu increased fees.
The governor, however, insisted that he would not reduce fees, saying the condition on ground would not permit him.
This was part of a debate monitored on Channels Television on Wednesday.
