F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, described his Malaysian Grand Prix weekend as “insanity from start to finish” after recovering from a difficult opening phase to finish third for Ferrari.

Hamilton started the race from second on the grid but struggled after Ferrari made the wrong tyre call at the beginning of the race.

The decision left him far behind the leading drivers, with Hamilton falling as low as 17th and at one point finding himself about a minute behind the leaders.

The seven-time world champion continued to push through the difficult conditions and gradually recovered positions as the race progressed.

He eventually crossed the finish line in third place, behind race winner
