Nigerian singer FOLA is stepping into a new chapter with the unveiling of his sophomore album, 9, featuring a heavyweight line-up that includes Davido, Ayra Starr, BNXN and Darkoo.
The 14 track project also brings together Bella Shmurda and Zlatan, giving the album a mix of established stars and contemporary voices across its tracklist.
9 comes after FOLA’s 2025 debut album, catharsis, as the singer builds on the foundation laid by his first full-length project.
The album title draws inspiration from football, with the number nine traditionally associated with the striker, the player expected to lead the attack and deliver goals.
Beyond its high-profile collaborations, 9 gives FOLA room to further explore his sound through a combination of solo records and collaborative tracks.
The project is scheduled for release on Friday, October 9, marking another major step in FOLA’s growing music career.
