For a few tense minutes, it looked like the BBNaija house had lost three of its biggest characters.
Then Biggie flipped the script. Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem were announced as evicted during Sunday night’s live show, sending the house into confusion as the trio appeared to leave the competition.
But just when the housemates and viewers were beginning to process their exits, Biggie revealed the real plan, it was all a fake eviction.
The three housemates were eventually brought back into the house, turning what initially looked like a major shake up into one of the season’s biggest twists.
The drama did not end there.
With Barry having earlier secured Immunity For All through his Ultimate Veto Power, all 10 remaining housemates were protected from eviction and secured their places in the grand finale.
That meant the apparent exits of Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem were never about reducing the competition.
Instead, Biggie had another surprise waiting.
The return of the trio was followed by the official confirmation of the Top 10 finalists for the Show Ya Sef season: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
The reactions inside the house quickly changed from uncertainty to celebration.
Sheba screamed as the returning housemates walked back in, while Ricky became emotional and Tram and Temi Nkem embraced Barry after his immunity decision.
For Temi Nkem, the night had already been particularly dramatic.
She had appeared to accept her supposed eviction before the twist was exposed, only to discover that her journey was far from over.
And just like that, an eviction night that appeared to be about saying goodbye became a celebration of survival.
With all 10 finalists now confirmed, the Show Ya Sef edition has entered its final week.
The season will reach its grand finale on Sunday, October 4, when one of the finalists will emerge as the winner of the ₦160 million grand prize.
Biggie promised a twist, and on Sunday night, he delivered one that turned three apparent exits into three unexpected returns.
