Afrobeats stars Davido and Rema will headline the 2027 edition of Afro Nation Portugal alongside Congolese music star Fally Ipupa.
The festival organisers announced the lineup on Wednesday, featuring Nigerian artistes Omah Lay and Victony on the main Lit Stage.
The festival is scheduled for June 9 to 11, 2027, at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal.
Other performers include Jamaican artistes Shenseea and Valiant, Tanzanian singer Rayvanny, British-Nigerian artiste Odeal and French-Congolese singer GIMS as a special guest.
South Africa’s Amapiano scene will be represented by Kabza De Small, TxC, Dlala Thukzin and Young Stunna.
Afro Nation Portugal, launched in 2019, celebrates Afrobeats and contemporary African music, with previous editions featuring artistes such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake and Tems. Rema previously headlined the 2024 edition.
The organisers said additional artistes would be announced as preparations for the festival continue.
