The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have filed petitions before the Osun Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal challenging the re-election of Gov. Ademola Adeleke.
The petitions were pasted on the notice board of the tribunal’s secretariat in Osogbo on Monday, marking the formal commencement of the legal process arising from the Aug. 15 governorship election.
Secretary to the tribunal, Mr Pete Belemore, confirmed that the two opposition parties had filed petitions challenging the election outcome.
He said necessary notices would be displayed on the tribunal’s notice board before the end of Monday, paving the way for the respondents
