Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has thrown his weight behind APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji ahead of the Osun State election.
Sanwo-Olu gave the endorsement while addressing the APC Mega Rally in Osogbo, alongside Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other party governors.
“Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji has served the people of Osun over the years and understands the responsibility that comes with public office,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He added that Oyebamiji’s “experience, commitment and record of public service have prepared him for the task ahead.”
The rally took place in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. Sanwo-Olu spoke at the event today, a day before the governorship poll scheduled for Saturday.
Speaking as Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Sanwo-Olu said, “We are confident in AMBO and believe he is ready to serve the people of Osun with purpose and dedication.”
He urged residents of Osun State: “I urge the good people of Osun State to come out on Saturday and vote for the APC.”
