Mohamed Salah didn’t take long to make his mark in the Süper Lig, bagging a brace on his first start for Trabzonspor to lead them to a 2-1 victory over İstanbul Başakşehir.
Making his full home debut at Papara Park, the Egyptian forward scored just eight minutes into the match before producing a trademark second-half finish to seal all three points.
In the 8th minute Salah Capitalized on a goalkeeper error from İstanbul Başakşehir, pouncing on a loose ball in the box and finishing calmly.
Then Eldor Shomurodov converted a penalty for the visitors to level the score at 1-1.
Early in the second half, Salah cut inside from the right wing, exchanged a quick 1-2 with Ernest Muçi, and curled a classic left-footed shot into the far corner.
