Nollywood actor and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate is fake, claiming that it did not emanate from the institution.

The controversy over Tinubu’s educational qualifications has persisted, with various claims concerning his academic records.

Okonkwo, in a post on X on Wednesday, August 19, urged Nigerians to focus on removing Tinubu from office in 2027 rather than his certificates and educational qualifications.

“Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate did not emanate from the University, it is fake.

“The most important thing in 2027 is to get Tinubu out of power,” he wrote.

Okonkwo also urged Igbos to align with other groups to improve the South-East’s chances of producing Nigeria’s president.

He expressed confidence that the ADC’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would establish a transformational government if elected.

“Ndigbo needs wise alignment with other people to achieve being President in Nigeria.

“Atiku will establish a transitional and transformational government to rebuild Nigeria that Tinubu is destroying,” he added.
