Social media commentator and relationship coach, Solomon Buchi, has advised Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Aminata, also known as Jarvis, to undergo premarital counselling ahead of their planned white wedding.
Buchi gave the advice in a video shared on his Instagram page following reports that the couple recently concluded their traditional marriage ceremony.
“Marriage is a very serious institution. It is more than streaming on social media,” he said.
He urged the couple to seek professional premarital counselling, noting that the process would help them build a stronger foundation for marriage and prepare for future responsibilities.
According to Buchi, emotional maturity, effective communication and shared values are essential ingredients for a successful and lasting marriage.
Peller and Jarvis recently shared their pre-wedding photographs on social media and announced that their white wedding is scheduled to hold on Aug. 1.
Buchi’s remarks have generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users supporting his advice, while others argued that the decision rests entirely with the couple.
Neither Peller nor Jarvis has publicly responded to the relationship coach’s comments.
