The naira appreciated by N4.80 against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday, closing at N1,375.30/$1.
Data published by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the local currency strengthened by 0.35 per cent compared to Monday’s exchange rate of N1,380.10/$1.
The naira has remained relatively stable in recent months amid ongoing economic and foreign exchange market reforms.
The currency also recorded a slight gain against the dollar in Monday’s trading session.
