Former Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafadeen Ishola, has urged his followers to remain calm following the emergence of Senator Solomon Adeola as the All Progressives Congress consensus governorship candidate in Ogun State.
Also an aspirant, Ishola said he was engaging in broad and meaningful consultations over the development.
In a statement on Tuesday, he noted:
Esteemed members of Sarafa Support Groups,
LEADERSHIP DEMANDS PATIENCE AND CLARITY
Warm greetings to all our esteemed supporters and stakeholders.
I am sure you are aware of the outcome of the APC State Caucus meeting recently held in Abeokuta.
As a democrat deeply committed to the values of inclusiveness, consultation, and responsible leadership, I wish to assure you that I am actively engaging in broad and meaningful consultations with critical stakeholders and respected voices across our political and social landscape.
These consultations are essential to ensuring that every decision taken is not only strategic but also reflective of the collective interest, aspirations, and stability of our people.
I urge all members of the Sarafa Support Groups to remain calm, steadfast, and confident in the process. Leadership, at defining moments such as this, demands patience, clarity, and a firm commitment to the greater good.
Upon the conclusion of these wide-ranging consultations, a comprehensive and well-considered position will be formally communicated.
Let us continue to uphold unity, peace, and constructive engagement as we navigate this important phase together.
Thank you for your unwavering support, trust, and belief in our shared vision.
Signed:
Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, OFR
Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (2021-2023)
