Ramadan: Philanthropist distributes food items to 2000 indigents in Kwara

Mr Yakub Ajadi-Prudent, the Senior Special Adviser, Special Duties, to the Minister of Youth Development, has distributed food items and cash to 2000 indigent people in Kwara  for Ramadan.

Speaking at the event in Ilorin on Sunday, Ajadi-Prudent explained that the gesture was targeted at complementing efforts of Gov. Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara on food security in the state.

He said that the distribution of food items to the less privileged during Ramadan wasn’t new, and had started four years  ago.

Ajadi-Prudent pledged that the gesture would continue after Ramadan to alleviate the sufferings of the less privileged in the society.

He commended Gov. Abdulrazaq on his people-centred projects in uplifting the living standards of the masses.

Also, the Coordinator of Prudent Yakub Babatunde Ajadi Solidarity Movement, Alhaji Oriyomi Yusuf, explained that the food items and cash were for beneficiaries from the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara.

Similarly, another Coordinator from Balogun Fulani Ward-3, Malam Habeebullahi Hussain, described Ajadi-Prudent as a philanthropist who is responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
