The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a courageous economic builder.
The Ooni made the call in a statement signed by Mr Moses Olafare, Director, Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, on Monday in Ile-Ife.
Ooni, who is also the Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), commended the President for his resilience, boldness, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the country.
He noted that Tinubu’s long political journey reflected a legacy of sacrifice, strategic leadership and steadfast dedication to democratic ideals, which have played a pivotal role in strengthening Nigeria’s political landscape.
The Oba further praised Tinubu’s courage in implementing critical reforms aimed at repositioning the nation’s economy, noting that the decisions, though challenging, are necessary for long-term national growth and stability.
“Tinubu is a visionary leader and bridge-builder. He has consistently demonstrated the capacity to inspire confidence and hope among Nigerians, even in the face of daunting national challenges,” he said.
He prayed that God grant him continued wisdom, strength, and good health as he steers the affairs of the nation.
