The Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has commiserated with the family of late Executive Director of the National Centre for Agriculture and Mechanisation (NCAM), Engr Abdulgafar Kamal, who died on Wednesday.
In a condolence message by his Spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir expressed sadness over the incident.
He described the death of the Executive Director, as a great loss to the Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general.
The Emir commiserated with the wife and children of the deceased, his immediate and extended family members, the Khalifatul Adabiyah as well as the entire Adabiyah movement, over the great loss.
Sulu-Gambari described the late Kamal as a resourceful member of the Ilorin Emirate and prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deceased was buried on Wednesday at Muslim cemetery at Okoolowo, in the outskirt of llorin amid tears from hundreds of sympathisers.
