A 55-year-old woman, Sekinat Agoro, on Wednesday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan for allegedly trespassing into another person’s land.
Agoro, whose address was not provided, was charged with conspiracy, forcible entrance and conduct likely to cause the breach of peace.
She however pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against her.
The Prosecutor, Insp Toyin Ibrahim, told the court that the defendant committed the offence sometime in November, 2025, at Bodunde area, Ido road, Ibadan.
Ibrahim alleged that the defendant and others at large, forcibly entered the land of one Mrs Olajumoke Wahab, represented by Ibrahim Agbalaya.
He said that the defendant entered the land without Wahab’s consent and also prevented her brother, Agbalaya from entering the land.
He said the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 516, 81 and 249(d) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mr Olaolu Olanipekun, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200, 000 and one reliable surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case until Feb.17, 2026, for hearing.
