Popular filmmaker, Toyin Aimakhu, has lamented that her new film, ‘Oversabi Aunty’, is being sabotaged at cinema houses.
She noted in a video that some were diverting potential viewers away from the movie at cinemas by lying that its tickets had been sold out while the otherwise was the reality.
Although she did not mention the names of the cinemas, she added that the managers were also being partial in allocating days and times.
She argued that they could give a cinema just a day while according others multiple.
Besides, she noted, “They sell another ticket to people and take them to my movie hall. Some cinemas will give you 10 am and 9 pm. A 10 am showtime, how do you expect it to sell?”
