Grief has again gripped Nollywood as versatile actress, and producer Allwell Ademola has passed away.
Ademola died on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43.
Ademol was said to have suffered a heart attack at her residence and was rushed to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The circumstance of her death thus recalls those of her colleagues like Murphy Afolabi, Dejo Tunfulu and Sisi Quadry, who not only left at unripe ages but had first collapsed before giving up the ghost.
The news has elicited shock and grief from many of her colleagues in Nollywood.
Actress Fathia Williams confirmed the development on Instagram, writing, “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar.”
Actor Damola Olatunji also mourned her passing, sharing a candlelight photo with the caption, “Life is a mirage,” while popular actress Mide Martins posted a photo of Ademola on Facebook alongside a heartfelt tribute.
Actress Bidemi Kosoko reacted emotionally on Instagram, expressing disbelief at the news
“No way. No, no, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid, in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one Lai Lai. God forbid. Olorun oni je.
“Just reply to my message, abeg, oremi/aunty mi. I will wait patiently for your reply,” she wrote.
