The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) on Thursday, felicitated Christian faithfuls, and stakeholders of the sports, as they celebrate Christmas.
The felicitations came in a Christmas message signed by Chairman of LSFA, Hajji Gafar Liameed, and issued by Secretary of the association, Vera Jatto Okechukwu.
In its message, LSFA noted that there were several good reasons to celebrate Christmas, adding that football in the state had continued to experience growth, peace and progress.
It attributed this growth to the cooperation and understanding it has enjoyed from throughout the year, from stakeholders, including the Lagos State Sports Commission and the Lagos State government led by Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
While praying for a peaceful celebration, the association urged that same should be used as a period for sober reflection as well as for showcasing the virtues of Jesus.
