A non-governmental organisation, The Osun Mastermind (TOM), has commended President Bola Tinubu for  noticeable drop in petrol pump prices and improved security across the country.
The Executive Director of the group, Prof. Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli, made the commendation during TOM’s December 2025 State of the State address on Tuesday in Osogbo.
Oyedokun-Alli said the group was delighted that the cost of petrol had started to decline with some filling stations currently selling the product at between N745 and N770 per litre.
He urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts to ensure a further reduction in petrol prices for Nigerians to experience more relief from the effect  of  removal of fuel subsidy.
“We have noted with delight that the cost of fuel has started to drop with some stations currently selling at N770 and N745 per litre.
“We call on the Federal Government to intensify efforts to ensure that petrol pump prices crash further to ease the pressure on the average Nigerian whose life has been made very tough since the removal of fuel subsidy,” Oyedokun -Alli said.
Speaking on insecurity, Oyedokun-Alli also commended the Federal Government for its deliberate efforts at ensuring the safety and security of citizens across the country.
He advised the government to further intensify efforts to protect lives and property  and safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
Oyedokun-Alli said the group would continue to engage policymakers across board and consistently voice its views on how Nigeria and Osun  should be governed.
