In a celebratory post shared on its official Instagram page, FilmOne expressed gratitude to audiences across West Africa for the overwhelming support, describing the performance as a historic milestone for the industry.
“Thank you West Africa. Another history has been made,” the distributor said, adding that the movie has delivered a box office smash hit of N512 million, a feat unmatched by any Nollywood title within such a short period.
NAN reports that the film’s strong opening underscores Funke Akindele’s continued dominance at the box office, further reinforcing her reputation as one of Nollywood’s most bankable filmmakers.
