Rising spoken-word artist Deborah Johnson, better known by her stage name TheGlobalPoet, has emerged as the winner of De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt Season 4, one of Nigeria’s most celebrated talent competitions showcasing creativity, artistry, and passion.
The announcement was made public through Johnson’s verified Instagram account, where she expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for her long-awaited breakthrough. The talented poet revealed that she had auditioned for the show in the previous season but was unable to participate at the time.
“Last season I auditioned for De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt and got in, but God didn’t allow me go for the show. For the first time in two years, I think I understand why,” she wrote in her post.
Describing the competition as a life-changing experience, Deborah shared how the journey tested and strengthened her faith. “This has been one of the most stretching experiences of my life,” she wrote, adding, “All glory, all honor, and all praise be to God Almighty who makes all things beautiful in His time.”
