Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni, has stirred a massive buzz online following a heated argument that ensued between him and the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi.
The interview which was supposed to be a harmless questions and answers session turned out to be confrontational as both parties tackled each other without creating room for a smooth conversation.
The viral interview has caused many Nigerians to question Rufai’s professionalism and work ethics as he engaged the minister, who is a government representative.
As a member of the press, he wasn’t expected to be too harsh in his approach and tone which many consider unruly.
While some believe Rufai’s approach was born out of frustration and corruption the country is presently dealing with, others think he did the right thing by calling the Senator out to iron out the issue.
David on the other hand, slightly ‘belittled’ Rufai by calling him a small boy, and not creating room for him to speak when he asked questions.
However, it may be said that apportioning blame to either of the parties won’t shed more light on the issue, rather, it would cause more chaos than a resolution
