The Governing Council of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, has approved the appointment of a new administrative team to boost the institution’s administrative system.
This is contained in a statement signed by Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, the institution’s Vice-Chancellor on Thursday in Okitipupa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Aaron Babarinde-Moriyole and Mr Idowu Falemora were appointed as Deputy Registrars, Mrs Victoria Adesola-Alade as first Deputy Librarian, while Mr Olurotimi Adekanle is the Deputy Bursar.
Ologunorisa described Babarinde-Moriyole as a seasoned administrator with a wealth of experience in university management.
Ologunorisa was formerly a Principal Assistant Registrar and Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, OAUSTECH, before his new appointment which took effect from Dec. 10, 2024.
He holds a BSc in Political Science from Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti (1999), and an MSc in Public Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University.
Falemora on the other side is a seasoned administrator with a strong background in human resources and academic affairs.
He was previously a Principal Assistant Registrar, Advancement Unit, OAUSTECH, with his new appointment effective Sept. 17.
He holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and an MSc in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, University of Ibadan.
Mrs Adesola-Alade with a wealth of experience in library and information science was formerly a Principal Librarian, OAUSTECH, and her new appointment took effect from June 18.
Adekanle was previously a Chief Accountant with Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State with his new appointment effective Sept.18.
He holds a BSc in Accounting, University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) and MSc in Accounting from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State .
Ologunorisa noted that the wealth of knowledge and experience of the new appointees would boost the administrative status of the institution.
“I charge you to bring your wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in the discharge of your duties to boost and improve the administrative status of the institution.
“I wish you well in your new status and urge you to work with best practices in your respective professions, as well as ensure accountability, transparency and resilience in the discharge of your duties,” he said.
