Prof. Joash Amupitan (SAN) is the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
His nomination has been approved by the Council of States, meaning that it is now subject to ratification by the National Assembly.
Amupitan is from Kogi State, North Central of the country.
