The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated the muslim faithful on the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
In a message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio admonished muslims in Nigeria to emulate the Prophet Muhammad’s life of peace, love, and service to humanity.
“On behalf of the senate, my family, and constituents, i extend warm felicitations to our muslim brothers and sisters as you celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW),” he said. “May this auspicious occasion bring peace, joy, and blessings to our great nation and the world at large.”
“As we commemorate the life and teachings of the Prophet, I urge you to draw inspiration from his virtues of harmony, love, and service to humanity.
“May we all strive to live in unity, embracing the values of compassion, kindness, and selflessness that the Prophet exemplified,” Akpabio further said.
He prayed that the celebration ushers in a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress for our nation.
