*How her argument threatens Davido’s position
Koroba singer, Tiwa Savage, has made a strong case for Tems in the ‘Big 3′ question of the Nigerian music industry.
Burna Boy, Davido and Wizked are regarded as the ultimate Big 3 but Tiwa is challenging the parameter used.
While another big star, Rema, has also argued his candidature for the enviable hall of three, Tiwa says Tems has achieved certain milestones that qualify her to be in.
She would not name who should be stepped aside for Tems to enter.
Besides, she is silent on Tems’ equally reigning contemporary, Ayra Starr.
In a recent interview, however, she argued: “I also feel like it’s unfair to have that conversation about the Big 3 and not mention someone like Tems.”
Based on her Grammy question, some may note Tiwa would rather Davido was out since he is the only Big 3 member who has not won one.
