Tv host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s outfits have been a highlight of the ongoing Big Brother Naija show, showcasing his impeccable sense of style while paying tribute to Nigerian icons.

He represented several icons by recreating outfits that represent them most, be it past or present.

Chief Oliver De Coque — was one of the most prolific artistes ever. Ebuka wore a richly embroidered burgundy jacket with gold detailing, coral beads, and a matching cap, celebrating the highlife legend’s flamboyant stage presence.

As for Fela Anikulapo-Kuti-inspired look,he channelled Fela’s signature style with a bold, open-chested patterned shirt paired with high-waist trousers and layered beads, capturing the Afrobeat pioneer’s unapologetic energy.

Ebuka honoured the late Sultan of Sokoto — Sultan Muhammadu Maccido — with a traditional Northern Nigerian royal ensemble, featuring a deep navy blue robe with light blue embroidery and an elegant white turban.

His Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki)-inspired suit was a sharp royal blue three-piece suit with a fedora and dark sunglasses, paying homage to the Nollywood legend’s stylish era.

Chidi Mokeme’s retro blazer look referenced Mokeme’s signature style with a teal corduroy blazer, black shirt, and pants.

As for the boyfriend of females in Nigeria — RMD (Richard ofe-Damijo) — Ebuka recreated his timeless Nollywood fashion with a camel corduroy suit, leopard-print shirt, and layered jewelry.

Ebuka channelled the juju legend Kng Sunny Ade’s style with a bright pink lace agbada, matching fila, and coral beads.

Other outfits of notable personalities have also been showcased such as the likes of Sunny Okosun, Nkem Owoh, Prince Nico Mbarga’s ‘Sweet Mother’.
