The commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Maj.-Gen. Abdul Ibrahim, has assured the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Maj.-Gen. Abubakar Wase, of collaboration for operational success.
Ibrahim gave the assurance while receiving the new GOC 1 Div. and Commander, Sector 1 Joint Task Force North-West, Operation Fansan Yamma. Wase was on a familiarisation visit to the NDA at Afaka, in Kaduna.
He reassured him of full support and collaboration to enhance the security situation in the division’s ‘Area of Responsibility’.
Ibrahim further congratulated the GOC for his appointment by the COAS as the 44th GOC, describing it as a well deserved feet.
In his remark, the GOC assured the commandant of his readiness to support the academy whenever the need arose.
