Ibitoye explained that the accident involved six persons – four males and two females as one female died in the accident.
“One life was lost in the accident involving a truck and a lorry. The accident occurred due to speeding on the parties involved.
“We implore motorists and other road users to always be patient on the corridor and abide with traffic rules and regulations especially obeying speed limits which is safety precaution.
“I also implored vehicles not to park on the shoulder of the road.
“The state government has built a parking lot for big vehicles in case they are tired, they should make use of this,” Ibitoye said.
He said that the remains of the deceased have been deposited at the State Specialist Hospital in Ore.
