Nwachukwu alleged that the defendant conspired with one Yusuf (surname unknown), of Galadima, Abuja, now at large, to invade the site and cart away two Geepee water tanks, value yet to be ascertained.
She added that the defendant was later arrested and during interrogation, made a confessional statement but failed to give a satisfactory explanation for his actions.
The prosecutor said the offence contravened Sections 97, 348 and 288 of the Penal Code.
The Chief Magistrate, Musa Jobbo, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in like sum.
He ordered that the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and adjourned the case until Oct. 20 for hearing.
