APC shuts national secretariat to honor late President Buhari

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has closed its national secretariat in Abuja to mourn the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement released on Monday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Felix Morka, said the closure was directed by Acting National Chairman Malam Bukar Dalori.

The secretariat will remain closed from Monday and reopen on Thursday

Morka urged the party’s faithful to use this period of national mourning for quiet reflection and prayers for the repose of the soul of Buhari.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Buhari, a two term president of Nigeria on the platform of the APC died in a private hospital in London on Sunday.
