The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has announced a change of venue for its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Thursday.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, the meeting will now hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, instead of the APC national secretariat on Blantyre Street, Wuse 2.

According to him, the change of the meeting venue was occasioned by some logistics reasons.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the nomination and ratification of a new national chairman for the party would form major issue for discussion at the meeting.
This followed the resignation of the party’s former national chairman,Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, on June 27, reportedly on health grounds.
NAN also reports that Ganduje’s resignation paving the way for Abubakar Dalori to assume office as the party’s acting national chairman.
