Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has criticised the Confederation of African Football (CAF) over what she described as poor accommodation arrangements for players ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Ajibade took to her Instagram page to share a photo of a cramped room, captioned, “Two professional women players in this kitchen-sized room at a prestigious tournament,” highlighting the substandard living conditions provided to athletes.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the team will begin her campaign in the tournament on Saturday against Tunisia in Group B, before facing Algeria and Botswana.
Nigeria is hoping for a 10th title in the event which is scheduled to hold between July 5 and July 26.
