The relationship between an entrepreneur and a POS operator in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, has broken down.

The  POS operator, Opeyemi Usman, 30, was on Friday arraigned in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in the ancient city for allegedly stealing her employer`s N553,500.

Usman was charged with stealing to which she pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecutor, Insp Olalekan Adegbite told the court that the defendant committed the offence between May and June 2025 at Moniya area of Ibadan.

Adegbite alleged that the defendant stole the money belonging to her employer, Mr Olarenwaju Sodiq.

He said the offence contravened Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

The Magistrate, Mrs Kausarat Ayofe granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

She adjourned the case until July 15, for mention.
