MultiChoice has said that form for participation in the 2025 BBNaija reality show is free.
It said this as it debunked claims that payment is required to participate in Big Brother Naija auditions.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company emphasised that both interested participants and the general public should verify all BBNaija-related information solely through their official channels.
The group reiterated that the audition process for the popular reality TV show is entirely free for all eligible Nigerians.
They cautioned against any messages, whether online or offline, that request payment for entry.
“Any communication requesting payment related to Big Brother Naija auditions is false and should be disregarded.
“Big Brother Naija auditions require no payment, and remain free, fair, and accessible to all eligible Nigerians.
“Rely only on the official Africa Magic and Big Brother platforms for accurate information about Big Brother Naija,” the statement partly read.
Multichoice also expressed appreciation for the continued support and enthusiasm of its audience and urged the public to stay vigilant against misinformation.
Earlier this month, the company announced that auditions for the much-anticipated BBNaija Season 10 would be held in three cities; Lagos, Enugu, and Abuja.
According to the announcement, registration will take place on the official Africa Magic TV website from May 3 to May 7.
Successful applicants will then proceed to the physical audition, scheduled to run from May 16 to May 18.
The audition is open to individuals aged 21 and above.
