President Bola Tinubu rejoices with Mrs Olayinka Aletor, lawyer, businesswoman and philanthropist as she marks her 60th birthday tomorrow, May 10.
Aletor, who sits on the board of several companies, played a pivotal role in grooming thousands of legal practitioners at the Nigerian Law School, the President said in a statement by Mr Bayo Onanuga, his spokesman on Friday.
Aletor’s career climaxed as Head of Students Affairs, a position she held until her voluntary retirement in 2020.
Tinubu extolled her contributions to national development through her Capital Express Holding Company Ltd., where she is the vice-chairman.
The company has interests in insurance, investment banking, energy, and mining, creating employment opportunities for many Nigerians.
The president also remarked that her deep commitment to philanthropy, especially the empowerment of widows and education of the less privileged, through her United Pastoral Foundation, underscored her magnanimity and resourcefulness.
While wishing her good health, more wisdom, and prosperous years ahead, the president believes Aletor’s career and kindness will continue to inspire many Nigerians.
