As the circumstances of the arrest of controversial social critic, VeryDarkMan remain cloudy, afrobeats star, Davido, has said that the support VDM is getting is inspiring him to do more for the masses.
He called for VDM’s release in a post on Sunday, saying it was good to note that he was impacting lives.
VDM was said to have been arrested on the premises of a bank in Abuja, but there have not been any official statement on the matter.
His is unlike that of another celebrity, E-Money, who was last week arrested for alleged naira abuse but has been released.
Reacting to the VDM’s matter, Davido, who is currently promoting his album 5ive, noted: “Outside all the noise, it’s good to see that the good one does impact lives, and people appreciate it! The support I’m seeing for VDM everywhere is encouraging, making one want to do more for the masses.
“Free my guy.”
