Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria

Position Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects within our organization. This role requires a dynamic and experienced individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the high-quality standards of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Implementation:
– Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
– Coordinate and supervise project activities, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
– Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
2. Team Management:
– Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
– Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
– Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and ensure effective communication.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community members.
– Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
– Engage with beneficiaries to understand their needs and ensure projects are aligned with their interests.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation:
– Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project outcomes and impact.
– Conduct regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous learning.
– Prepare detailed reports on project performance, including success stories and lessons learned.
5. Financial Management:
– Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring funds are allocated effectively and expenditures are tracked accurately.
– Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including timely submission of financial reports.
– Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with project activities.
6. Resource Mobilization:
– Identify funding opportunities and develop proposals to secure financial support for projects.
– Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop strategies for resource mobilization.
– Manage donor relationships and ensure timely and accurate reporting on project outcomes.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
– Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
– Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
– Proficiency in project management tools and software.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
