‘Limpopo’ singer, Kcee, has relieved his love life with Ebube Nwagbo, one of Nolyywood’s most eligible singles.
The actress is 42 and is neither married nor is she a baby mama.
Her story is similar to those of Bimbo Akintola and Eniola Badmus, who are also over 40 and are single.
On her choice, Nwagbo once said in an interview: “He (her man) must be an understanding man with lots of patience because with the kind of job she does and the day-to-day running of her business, she doesn’t know how many men would be ready to cope with that.”
Over the years, the media has linked her romantically to several men, including Ogbona Nwankwo, Emmanuel Emenike, Kcee, and Ray Emordi.
As uyomoneygist, for instance, writes in a story, rumours circulated that Ogbona Nwankwo, Kano Nwakwo’s brother, had proposed to and married Laura Ikeji after his relationship with Ebube ended. Some even suggested their relationship ended because of Ebube’s alleged waywardness.
It writes: “However, Ebube blamed the media for destroying her relationship and vowed to keep her private life out of the public eye in the future. Additionally, there were rumours about Ebube dating Kcee while he was still married to his wife, Ijeoma. When Kcee’s marriage later ended, some people accused Ebube of being a “husband snatcher.” Fortunately, Kcee and his wife reconciled and are back together as husband and wife.
“Ebube Nwagbo revealed that she believes everything happens at the right time, as ordained by God when asked why she is not married. She explained that she doesn’t like to start something and end it halfway, preferring to stick with things till the end. This is why she must be very careful about marriage.
She further added that she has learnt a lot from other people’s mistakes and insists that whenever she makes a decision, it has to be the right one. She emphasised, “No rush!” Ebube further noted that being in a relationship alone is challenging enough, let alone marriage.
According to her, ‘I just want to do it right to avoid regret. So I am treading carefully because marriage in the limelight is not easy.”
Meanwhile, in an interview on the Tea With Tay podcast, Kcee confirmed that they were once a high-profile couple, frequently gracing the front covers of newspapers and attending red carpet events.
The singer revealed that their relationship was serious, with plans to get married that ultimately didn’t materialise.
“Our relationship was everywhere—Ebube Nwagbo. We were always on the front covers of newspapers. And we usually sat in the front row of every red carpet show. We were close to getting married. Whatever that happened, happened,” he recounted.
Kcee, who has been married to Ijeoma Okonkwo since 2010, shared insights into his pre-social media romance, stating that he had a penchant for dating actresses back then.
