Ahead of the release of his new album titled ‘5ive’, Afrobeats sensation, Davido, has boasted about his American heritage.
He says he can fly to the United States as he wishes because he has the country’s passport.
Speaking on the significance of his American citizenship, he says the country’s passport is worth more than a million dollars.
“Till date, I don’t care how much money you’ve got, that blue passport is worth more than a million dollars.
“The only thing is that I could fly anytime I wanted, like go to America every time I wanted and stuff. That was beautiful,” he adds.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, the singer holds dual citizenship, giving him unrestricted access to the United States.
He occasionally speaks on events in the US just as he participated in the election that ushered in President Donald Trump though his candidate, Democrats’ Kamara Harris, lost.
