Afrobeat artiste, Seun Kuti, has said that he has no cause to attach any importance to the autobiography former military president Ibrahim Babangida just released.
According to him, there is nothing he can reveal to him (Seun) about the June 12 1993 election.
Babangida has claimed in the book that it was the late maximum ruler, Sanni Abacha, who annulled the election won by the late MKO Abiola, while also eventually declaring that Abiola truly won the presidential poll.
Reacting to this in a video on Instagram Live, Seun argued:
“I don’t care about Babangida’s book. Whatever Babangida said in his book is Babangida’s problem. There is nothing Babangida wants to tell people like me who are interested in the story of my country that I don’t know already.”
