The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has commented on the case of a TikToker arrested for allegedly cyberbullying him.

He noted that the man, Olumide Ogunsanwo, aka ‘SeaKing,’ lambasted him because he asked his (Adeboye’s) followers to fast for 100 days.

The cleric, however, urged the police to release him, saying he was not the one who solicited his arrest.

Adeboye spoke during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service held at the Redemption City, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, on Friday.

In a video of his sermon at the service that began trending on Saturday, Adeboye clarified that he had no hand in SeaKing’s arrest, stating that certain individuals, angered by the TikToker’s remarks, took the decision to arrest him

Adeboye said in part, “I heard that there is someone who lambasted me thoroughly. What is my offence? Because I asked my people to fast for 100 days. I didn’t ask him o.

“I didn’t even ask anybody who is not a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to fast.

“I was told some people got so angry and went to arrest the fellow. Release him, he’s fulfilling prophecy.”
